At the Club AGM, one of the members asked if we could make some wig stands for the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital.   The stands are used to display wigs that may be needed by cancer sufferers who have undergone radiation treatment and suffered hair loss.   The existing stands were less than appealing plastic affairs, and the member wondered if we could provide some more attractive versions.

Club members responded well, and made a good number of stands, which will be presented to the Centre.

The picture below shows club members Nigel Maddocks, Andrew Date and David O'Callaghan, along with the stands produced in a variety of woods.
